It was our second official delegation trip to Saudi Arabia: from 30 October to 1 November, we travelled to Riyadh and Jeddah. Various topics were on the agenda, including the regional security situation against the backdrop of the conflict between Israel and Hamas, the war in Ukraine, the fight against climate change in the run-up to COP 28 and Saudi Arabia’s economic and social development, including in the area of human rights.
