Elisabeth Hoffmann
Elisabeth is responsible for the offices in Berlin and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. She coordinates Hannah’s constituency appointments, plans and organizes networking events, and maintains connections with the Green Party’s parliamentary group in the Bundestag. Her thematic focus is on the Campus for Democracy—the former Stasi headquarters in Berlin-Lichtenberg—and on German-Polish relations along the Oder River. Before working for Hannah, Elisabeth spent over ten years in the field of intercultural dialogue and led political networking projects, most recently for the Genshagen Foundation. Her academic background includes a degree in Latin American Regional Studies and a bachelor’s degree in German-French cultural relations.
Anja Meinecke
Anja works for Hannah in the European Parliament in Brussels and is responsible for office organization. Her tasks include scheduling meeings, email correspondence, travel planning, maintaining the ethics and transparency register, personnel organization, and overseeing financial planning. Anja has experience in the hospitality and tourism sector and has worked in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Belgium, both in industrial and service companies as well as NGOs. Before joining Hannah’s team, Anja had already worked in the European Parliament for 10 years.
Mitra Bücke-Jahromi
Mitra supports Hannah particularly in areas related to Iran and Afghanistan. She works on topics relating to the rights of women and vulnerable groups, especially in crisis and conflict regions. She has extensive experience in international cooperation and contributes her expertise, among other roles, as a board member of Women in International Security (WIIS), where she advocates for strengthening women’s roles in security policy. Mitra’s academic background includes a Master’s degree in Central Asian Studies with a focus on Afghanistan from Humboldt University in Berlin, as well as studies in International Affairs with a focus on Strategic Studies at King’s College London.
Amira von Call
In Hannah’s team, Amira is responsible for the AFET and SEDE committees, as well as the topic of “Feminist Foreign Policy,” and geographically for the Arabic-speaking region. Before joining Hannah’s team, Amira worked at the European Commission and the European External Action Service, as well as for various non-governmental organizations and research institutes in several countries. Her academic background includes a German-French dual master’s degree in “Geostrategy, Defense, and International Security Policy” and a postgraduate degree in “European Diplomacy and International Relations.”
Carolin Hilkes
Carolin is responsible for Hannah’s social media communication and coordinating press relations. She also works on topics related to Hannah’s role as a substitute member of the LIBE committee. Carolin has a bachelor’s degree in European Studies and a master’s degree in European Public Affairs. During her studies, she has worked in a political consultancy, the German Federal Foreign Office, and the Federal Press Office.
