This week I spoke about Nasrin Sotoudeh in Parliament.
The Iranian human rights lawyer uses the laws of her country to defend her clients against the regime. She has been repeatedly put to trial and sentenced to prison for her activism. Nasrin Sotoudeh is currently in prison for representing women who removed their headscarves in public.
I admire Nasrin Sotoudeh, this unbreakable woman. The regime must know: If they continue their crackdown, they will become even more isolated and be subject to sanctions
