Global supply chains are a core element of our European economy. But in times of a pandemic with restricted traffic and strict export rules, they can be vulnerable. This is illustrated by the example of masks, 90% of which come from China. On euronews I therefore pointed out that we should consider which devices, tools and industries should be located in Europe in the future.
