Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania

Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is situated in the centre of Europe. It has a lot to offer to the EU - and the EU has a lot to offer to this region. I want to make sure that all sides recognise and exploit this potential. Why? Because I like Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania:

The nature, the people, the towns, the water and the wind. And my husband, who is from there. In terms of policy, the issues of environmental protection and sustainability are closest to my heart. I want to stand up against hatred and exclusion and generate greater enthusiasm for the European project.

In connection with the corona crisis, Poland has introduced a 14-day quarantine period for citizens returning to the country. This also has an impact on the state Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, where many Polish commuters work.
