I was put on the sanctions list of the Iranian regime – My statement

Recently, the Iranian regime has added me to its sanctions list. As a consequence, I am i.a. no longer allowed to enter the country. The regime argues that, for example, I “support terrorism” – of course, I only support the Iranians protesting for freedom.

In the end, this decision of the regime is good news because it shows that it cares about what I say. I decided to use that to speak even more about the atrocities and crimes it commits.

I can assure you that my fight for freedom in Iran, and all around the world, will continue unabated. My full solidarity goes to all those protesting peacefully in the streets of Iran and those imprisoned for protesting or because of their anti-regime activism.

The Iranian regime has already executed two protesters – these executions must stop right now!
