Women to the bargaining tables! When women are involved, peace talks fail less often and peace treaties last longer. Women also play a decisive role in conflict prevention, peacekeeping and reconstruction. How can we ensure that women are heard more often around the world? What about the representation of minorities? What opportunities does a feminist foreign policy offer and what role can the EU play in this? I discussed this with Nina Bernarding from the Centre for Feminist Foreign Policy and Nicola Popovic, co-founder and co-director of Gender Associations. This webinar took place in the framework of the “GreenEurope webinars” of the European Group Greens.
