Screening of The Sharp Edge of Peace at the European Parliament: On November 18, I had the privilege of presenting the impressive documentary The Sharp Edge of Peace at the European Parliament, alongside Alessandra Moretti (Vice-Chair of the Delegation for Relations with Afghanistan). The film follows four Afghan women—Fatima Gailani, Fawzia Koofi, Habiba Sarabi, and Sharifa Zurmat — in their courageous peace negotiations with the Taliban. It highlights how these women, despite immense adversity, tirelessly fight for peace and justice.
